These are the top questions we get.

Q:  Is LOG-MD only 64bit?

    A1:  The Free Edition only supports 64bit

A2: 32bit version is only available in LOG-MD-Pro after version 2.2. Microsoft has End-of-Lifed 32bit Windows, so the pro version will support it as long as possible.

Q:  How do I start with LOG-MD Free Edition?

    A:  Type "LOG-MD -h" to get the help menu

Q:  Is there a manual for LOG-MD Free Edition

    A1:  No, that is why it is FREE... use the -h

    A2:  There is a 'Quick Start Guide'

Q:  Does case matter on the parameters?

    A:  YES!  all parameters are currently lowercase

Q:  Can I do a quick PASS/FAIL audit check of my system?

    A:  YES!  LOG-MD checks your system against the ‘Windows Logging Cheat Sheet’ and what LOG-MD needs to do a good job of harvesting data and will tell you what failed and how to fix it.

Q:  What hash does LOG-MD use?

    A:  SHA256 is what LOG-MD uses for its hashing... for now

Q:  What languages do you support?

    A:  US English, but it does run on other languages.  See the READ-ME if you have              issues running it and send us an email with the data requested.
